Prepare for birth with focused postures, meditative breathing and strengthening exercises in this prenatal yoga class. Each class will be tailored to how the group is feeling but will always include hip stretches, various types of squats to prepare the pelvic floor for birth and learn how to properly utilize reverse kegal exercises. This Sunday class will split its time evenly between traditional yoga and restorative yoga. You will walk away feeling both challenged and deeply restored all in one class.
About The Instructor
Jennifer is an Integrative Nutritionist studying at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She completed her 200 hour certification at Skyting Yoga and her 85 hour pre/postnatal certification at Love Child Yoga - both located in New York City. She is a birth doula, certified breastfeeding counselor and postpartum chef. She currently resides in Millbrook with her husband Peter, dog King Louis and they are expecting their first child this Spring.
