Join us on Wednesday September 21st
at the Rhinecliff Hotel
as celebrate inclusion, accessibility and The Arts!
Our breakfast sponsor, is one of our newest members:
The Gallery@Rhinebeck Project. A new artist's co-op project being formed with an intended Rhinebeck village home. A unique opportunity to show artists work at new commission-free gallery. The gallery would also offer special events, such as: spoken word performances, live music, auctions and a site for fundraisers and private parties. With special emphasis placed on mid-week and winter programming. The driving force behind this endeavor is Pat D'Antonio. Make plans to join us this morning to hear what's potentially on the horizon for a new art/performing art space in the village.
"We have already formed several strategic alliances with various organizations and businesses that will help to make the gallery a success. The Betsy Jacaruso Gallery, Shelter Restaurant, The Studio View Art Tours, The Barrett Gallery of Poughkeepsie and the Rhinebeck Chamber of Commerce are just a few of the people who have offered their support." says D'Antonio. Betsy Jacaruso of Betsy Jacaruso Studio & Gallery will introduce Mr D'Antonio.
Executive Director Pat D’Antonio will give a brief overview of The Gallery@Rhinebeck Project. Pat D’Antonio is a former Executive Vice President of Encore Productions, an international producer of corporate marketing events. A Creative Director and Producer of events around the world, Pat has a great deal of experience in the creative arts and in marketing those arts to the public.

"Statistically speaking, it could be you -
The probability of you or someone you are close to experiencing disability is relatively high. About 1 in 4 twenty year olds will become disabled prior to retirement, and just about 40% of people over 65 years of age are disabled. Saying “This is not MY problem!” is short sighted—it’s likely you will be in this position at some point, so it is worth it to make the world a better place for people in this group. It is the only marginalized group that you can end up joining involuntarily, at any time. So what does this mean to your business or community group? It means we need to re-evalulate how we are setting up our websites, spaces and how customers & patrons interact with us."
Our September Business Breakfast speakers should be very engaging...both are visionaries with a desire to help build and sustain communities from within by including awareness of all. I hope you can make it - Claudia
