    Name: Autism Supportive Environments Training
    Date: February 19, 2019
    Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM EST
    Registration: Register Now
    Event Description:
This training will be guided by Anderson Center for Autism.  Its purpose is to provide businesses non-profits and community organizations that work in the Village of Rhinebeck with an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to help them decide how they might participate in Doing 1 Thing!

At both the breakfast & training, Anderson Center for Autism staff will shed light on what autism is and how to support those impacted. The 1-hour training at 9am on Feb. 19th will give participants
an overview of exactly what modifications they might consider making to their operations/facilities to gain designation as an official part of the Village of Rhinebeck Autism Supportive Community
initiative. Those businesses who pledge to do just one thing to help this population, and who deliver on that pledge, will receive formal recognition noting their participation in the project and will be
included as part of a roster of businesses listed on the Chamber website on a special web page sponsored by Dave’s Tree Service for “Autism Supportive Businesses.”

While this is open to the public and FREE the focus is on speaking directly to organizations that can do something. If you represent an organization that operates in the village, please consider attending first the Breakfast and then staying on for this training.
Please register so that we know how many people to expect.
